Our passion is assisting travelers like you to create an itinerary best suited to your needs while offering unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences at an accessible price point. Alethea Smartt is an expert Travel Consultant who has dedicated her life to the travel industry, from a consumer perspective as a world traveler, and from a business perspective as a flight attendant, Airbnb host, and executive/personal assistant and travel planner. She will create a vacation experience that is custom-tailored for you based on your travel style, budget and interests.
We have built trusted partnerships with local tour operators and service providers. We do not receive any compensation to promote any of our partners. Our choice of suppliers is based on our personal experience as well as feedback from our clients and other travelers. Our priority is you, the client, and providing you with the best options to create your ideal vacation. We pride ourselves on matching you with the best components for your trip – not pushing services that you don’t really want or need.
We answer the phone when you call and reply when you send a message, assuming we’re not out personally leading a tour, in which case we’ll get back to you within a few hours. You’ll never be left on hold or transferred to another associate just to be told that you can’t be helped. As full-time San Cristobal, Galapagos residents, we are here for you 24/7 and will gladly assist you should you need us during your travels.
Our Fees
Our Galapagos Travel Consulting service costs $100, which can be applied to your tour purchase.
Here is how our Galapagos Travel Consulting works:
- You fill out our Galapagos Vacation Inquiry Form.
- We will reply via email with a suggested itinerary based on the information you provide in the questionnaire.
- We set up a time for you to talk with us on the phone.
- During the call, we will answer your questions, make suggestions, give advice, etc. You have an hour of our time, so you can choose to split this into two 30-minute calls if you prefer.
- We will modify your itinerary as needed based on our conversation(s) and emails.
- Once we finalize your itinerary, you pay the 50% deposit or package total depending on how far in advance you reserve.
- You get credit towards your final payment per the terms below:
- If your tour package has a total cost of $250 – $499 per person, you will receive one $25 credit.
- If your tour package has a total cost of $500 – $749 per person, you will receive one $50 credit.
- If your tour package has a total cost of $750 – $999 per person, you will receive one $75 credit.
- If your tour package has a total cost of $1,000 or more per person, you will receive one $100 credit.
