ITINERARY DETAILS:

At the designated time, meet your tour assistant at Playa de Oro and receive a short safety and instructional briefing on how to use the stand up paddle boards. We’ll depart from the beach and paddle leisurely around the coastline and across Bahia Naufragio (Wreck Bay). This is a unique opportunity to be close to nature without motorized transport and is suitable for beginners.

We also offer this SUP tour as a 3-hour adventure to include snorkeling in Darwin Bay. Minimum 4 participants required. This is for experienced paddle boarders and swimmers only.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

  • Everything will get splashed/wet. Please do not bring anything that is not waterproof!
  • Please advise the tour operator in advance if you have any physical limitations.
  • The tour operator will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur and you will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to your tour.
  • The wildlife, especially sea lions, are not afraid of humans. They may even try to jump on the paddle boards. Please do not touch them!

WILDLIFE YOU MAY ENCOUNTER:

Sea lions, sea turtles, rays, many varieties of fish, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, frigates, pelicans, petrels, and other birds.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:

  • Swimsuit and/or clothing that you don’t mind getting wet
  • Wide-brim hat with chin strap
  • Sunglasses with lanyard

  • Drinking water
  • Water shoes or flip flops
  • Dry bag
